Mock up 1

Most of the double page spreads i have looked at, also have a little section down the side which is filled with different stories. Therefore on this mock up i have done a standard double page spread lay out and have then also added a section where there is room for other images and texts about other artists featured in the magazine.

Mock up 2

On this mock-up i have only put the image on one side of the page, and have then left room to add images over the top. I have then put the interview in columns with quotes from the band darted around the page. I'm not sure i like the idea of having the image on one side, i think the page will look overall better if the image covers the whole back page. I think this will make it look more stylish which i definitely want to portray
